As we rapidly expand our capabilities, we're seeking a PDE Section Manager. Generally, the second-highest level engineering position in the factory, this role reports to the Engineering Branch Manager, and oversees and provides leadership to PDE engineers and technicians for,
- Yield Optimization: Conduct thorough analysis of production yield issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that enhance product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- New Product Launch: Collaborate with Business Units to characterize, qualify, and successfully release new products to production, ensuring a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
- Production Support: Address daily production challenges including low yield disposition and process troubleshooting.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and quality enhancement across the production process.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize statistical tools and production data to guide engineering decisions and process improvements.
- Design Collaboration: Work with design teams on product simulation, design verification and silicon debug.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with business units' product engineering teams to drive yield improvements through test program optimization, hardware enhancements, and setup adjustments.
- Failure Analysis: Collaborate with Electrical and Physical failure analysis labs to drive to root cause.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.

6 years of experience in Product Engineering at the Device/Wafer Level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical background in process/ test and device physics.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience with AI systems for data analysis
- Very strong problem solving skills
- Strong experience driving projects to successful conclusion
- 1 year of leadership/management experience
- Open minded to change, dramatic change
- Adaptable to change in direction and priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
