Production Control (PC) Process Technicians keep material flowing by executing established warehouse, lineside, and system processes. You will collect operational data, review existing dashboards, implement layouts and labeling, run assigned project work, and close daily gaps that keep production supplied — including lineside escalations, individual configuration changes, part cutovers, inbound/outbound support, and PC request handling. This is a hands-on factory role based in Buffalo, NY supporting all of the site’s active production lines. You will work from defined processes and partner with Process Engineering Technicians when work requires new process design, mass configuration, system-setting changes, or ownership of a new line.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and maintain Production Control data so inventory, delivery, and process metrics stay accurate
  • Review existing dashboards daily; flag misses, trends, and follow-up actions
  • Implement warehouse and lineside layouts, including location setup and labeling
  • Execute assigned projects against defined timelines, communicating status internally and to partner teams
  • Own daily material escalations, including lineside shortages, delivery misses, and warehouse exceptions
  • Coordinate outbound material movement and support inbound accuracy and Supplier Operation Support (SOS) activity
  • Support PC Discrepancy Report activities through performing basic Root Cause Analysis and creating relevant inventory audits for the operations team. Handle external department ticket requests such as MRB movements or part cutover activities

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of warehousing, conveyance, and inventory compliance processes
  • Comfort working lineside and in the warehouse to resolve daily material issues
  • A proactive approach to problem solving in a fast, sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Time and workload management: can accomplish assigned work with minimal supervisior
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. whenever project or floor work demands it
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (dashboard review and data collection; SQL not required)
  • Degree preferred, or equivalent factory / material-handling experience 
  • Able to read, speak, and understand English, both written and verbal

Expected Compensation

  • Process Technician I - $25.88 - $28.80/hour
  • Process Technician II - $30.46 - $33.67/hour
  • Process Technician III - $33.09 - $38.46/hour
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
