Process Engineering Team Lead
The mission of our Process Engineering Team Lead is to manage scope and technical interfaces, such as the integration of OEM components, and lead a (virtual) team in performing their individual tasks.
How You'll Make an Impact
• Manage scope and technical interfaces (e.g., integration of OEM components etc.), lead a (virtual) team in performing the individual tasks as described below
• System design (piping and instrumentation diagrams P&IDs) for balance of plant systems (e.g. water/steam cycle, cooling water, fuel supply, auxiliaries)
• Prepare affiliated documents e.g., operational concept, P&IDs, system descriptions, application of design and calculation tools, data management tools.
• Preparation of Logics and HMI for BoP systems.
• Description of corresponding system / plant operation, such as start-up and shut down concepts, safe operation under all operating conditions.
• Preparation of technical specifications and inquiry documentation
• Participate in engineering and optimization of interfaces, responsibility in design review process
• Review contractors’ engineering
• Coordinate the preparation of customer documentation/O&M Manual
• Evaluate customer specifications
• Design and calculation of water/steam power plant systems and auxiliary components (e.g. pumps, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels, valves, pipelines etc.)
• Support of site activities during construction and commissioning
• Clarification of process and mechanical related topics with customers, consultants, authorities, external and internal partners, suppliers
What You Bring
• College degree in Engineering, preferably within the field of Mechanical / process engineering or equivalent combination of education and minimum 18 - 20 years experience from the power generation and EPC market
• Strategic orientation with a detailed knowledge of products and power plant components, services and markets of industrial power plant & Combined Heat and Power solution business
• Customer focus: capability of changing perspectives and adapting strategies and actions to the dynamic environment
• Intercultural sensitivity, in order to work in (virtual) international team
• Ability to positively lead project teams to provide the best solutions regarding budget, quality and time
• Capability to lead cross-functional and cross-product line initiatives, domestically and internationally
• Skills to lead and motivate people, act as integrator within bid and execution teams
• Capability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skills while assuring a high-quality work process
• Willingness for business travels with international contacts
• Excellent skills working with database preferably COMOS
