AWS Supply Chain is seeking a strategic leader to own our Principal Printed Circuit Board (PCB) long term strategy across AWS's hardware platform portfolio. This leader will own leveraging the AWS hardware and technology roadmap to develop, implement, and sustain a sourcing strategy for Printed Circuit Boards for ensuring we have secured the capacity we need and have the right commercial frameworks in place to protect continuity of supply, including for both PCB fabrication and underlying subtier materials (CCL, glass fiber cloth, copper foil).

You will be the connective tissue between supply chain operations, hardware and network engineering, and business planning.. This role shapes what we build, when we build it, and how we improve the way we introduce new products and sustain manufacturing production for our existing producs.

A successful candidate will have deep experience in Printed Circuit Boards sourcing, technology roadmap development, and supply chain process design. They will have a track record of influencing engineering and business leadership on platform decisions, building scalable frameworks, and driving continuous improvement across complex, cross-functional organizations.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end Printed Circuit Board (PCB) sourcing and commercial strategy
  • Influence hardware and network engineering roadmaps to align with that PCB strategy
  • Consolidate across our Compute and Networking product lines to deliver a 3-5 year forward looking strategy
  • Understand commercial tradeoffs/negotiation positions to optimize across individual suppliers and for a comprehensive continuity of supply strategy
  • Deep Dive into Tier N level risks (CCL, e-glass, copper foil, resins, manufacturing equipment, raw materials)
  • Drive clarity cross-functionally on our roadmap strategy; Present to Senior Leadership across AWS

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience
  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing PCB roadmap strategies/business agreements
  • Experience developing commercial and sourcing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience working in supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting
  • Previous experience at a PCB fab supplier or PCB sub-tier supplier
  • Experience in server, networking, or complex electromechanical hardware environments at hyperscale.
  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure, server architecture, or semiconductor supply chains

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
