We are seeking an experienced Government Contracts professional to lead the review, negotiation, drafting, and management of complex federal contracts. This role will partner closely with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders to support strategic opportunities and ensure compliance throughout the contract lifecycle—from RFP/RFX through award.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with extensive government contracting experience, strong judgment in non-standard deal structures, and deep knowledge of federal acquisition regulations. A former Government Contracting Officer is strongly preferred.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,300 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead the review, drafting, negotiation, and administration of complex U.S. Government contracts, including IDIQ contract vehicles, task orders, modifications, and related agreements.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including RFP/RFX analysis, proposal support, contract negotiations, award, and post-award administration.
  • Interpret and apply the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation (HSAR), and other applicable regulations.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and approve contract documents, terms, conditions, modifications, and non-standard agreements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, financial, operational, and compliance risks associated with government contract opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, Sales, Program Management, and executive stakeholders on contract strategy and deal structuring.
  • Support the resolution of contract disputes, claims, requests for equitable adjustment (REAs), contract changes, and other post-award matters.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on federal acquisition requirements, contract interpretation, negotiation strategy, and contract compliance.
  • Maintain complete and accurate contract documentation in accordance with company policies and customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of government contracts processes, templates, and compliance controls.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in U.S. Government contracting, contract management, or acquisition.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the full federal contracting lifecycle from RFP/RFX through contract award.
  • Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, HSAR, and federal acquisition and procurement regulations.
  • Experience negotiating and administering complex federal contracts, including IDIQs, task orders, modifications, and non-standard terms and conditions.
  • Strong contract drafting, contract review, negotiation, and risk-assessment capabilities.
  • Experience with claims, REAs, contract modifications, and post-award contract administration.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Deal Desk, Finance, Sales, and senior leadership.
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Former U.S. Government Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), or equivalent acquisition professional.
  • Experience supporting intelligence community, defense, homeland security, or other classified government programs.
  • Experience in technology, professional services, defense, aerospace, or government contracting environments.
  • Advanced degree, NCMA certification, CPCM, CFCM, or related government contracting certification.
