In This Global Future Leader Role, You will act as a Pricing Analyst
Role Overview
The SSG (Solutions & Services Group) IaaS Pricing Analyst NA TruScale IaaS Pricer is responsible for developing, analyzing, and approving commercial pricing solutions for Lenovo’s Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings across North and South America. The role partners closely with Sales, Solution Architects, Finance, Leasing/Financing teams, and Executive Approvers to optimize deal outcomes and ensure profitable, well-governed TruScale IaaS deals.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze deal profitability and economics, including gross margin, TCV/MCV, pricing concessions, and revenue-at-risk, to ensure alignment with business objectives and profitability targets.
- Validate bills of materials (BOMs) and solution inputs before final pricing.
- Manage pricing approvals and ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA), governance policies, and exception approval processes.
- Provide alternative pricing structures and scenarios that improve deal profitability while meeting customer requirements.
- Drive pricing automation initiatives and contribute to the development of tools, methodologies, and standard pricing models that improve quote quality and turnaround time.
- Produce pricing analytics and business insights to support management decision-making and continuous process improvement.
What You’ll Learn
- How TruScale IaaS and As-a-Service commercial models are structured, priced, and governed across Latin America and North America.
- How to interpret and optimize deal economics, including margin impacts, financing structures, and contract terms in complex IaaS deals.
- How to work effectively with Sales, Solution Architects, Finance, and Leasing/Financing teams to balance customer needs and profitability.
- How pricing governance, approval workflows, and automation tools are used to improve quote quality, compliance, and speed.
Job Requirements, Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial calculations, and data analysis.
- Ability to interpret deal economics, margin impacts, financing structures, and contract terms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across Sales, Finance, and technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of leasing, financing, and recurring revenue business models.
- Experience with pricing governance, approval workflows, and commercial negotiation support.
- Experience with subscription-based business models, cloud services, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), or As-a-Service offerings.
- Spanish or Portuguese speaking skills

- Currently completing or recently completed a degree from an accredited university (Bachelors, Masters or PhD)
- Passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning
- Demonstrated leadership potential through academic, professional, internship, or community involvement
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across global teams
- Ability to think strategically, manage ambiguity, and execute with attention to detail
- Flexibility to travel as needed (approximately 10-20%)
