Presales Intern

As a Presales Intern, you will work closely with members of our Presales Academy. You do not need to know everything on day one. You do need curiosity, initiative, and the motivation to keep learning.

What you’ll achieve

During the internship, you will discover how the art of sales blends with the science of technology. You will learn alongside Presales Academy members and gain a practical introduction to Dell Technologies’ ISG portfolio, including the role infrastructure, servers, storage, networking, and AI can play in solving customer challenges.

You will turn learning into practice through role plays and dry runs of customer conversations. With coaching and feedback from experienced colleagues, you will build confidence in asking discovery questions, understanding customer needs, explaining technical concepts, and connecting solutions to business outcomes.

You will also have the opportunity to work toward an industry-relevant certification during your time with us, giving you a tangible milestone to carry into your next career step.

You will:

• Learn alongside Presales Academy members and build foundational knowledge of Dell Technologies’ ISG portfolio; receive coaching and feedback from experienced Presales colleagues and use it to improve your approach.
• Participate in structured learning, shadowing, and hands-on activities that connect portfolio knowledge to customer needs; support the preparation of presentations, product demonstrations, and other presales activities.
• Take part in role plays and dry runs of customer conversations, including discovery, solution discussions, and technical storytelling.
• Practice explaining infrastructure, server, storage, networking, and AI concepts in a clear, customer-focused way.
• Have the opportunity to work toward a certification during your internship.

Essential Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical or business-related field.
• Strong interest in technology, good interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English and advanced in at least one of the following languages: Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, or Russian.
• A proactive approach, an innovative mindset, and a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Technical curiosity, attention to detail, an interest in problem-solving, and an interest in understanding how technology supports business needs.

Desirable Requirements

• Exposure to technology through academic projects, coursework, or previous internship experience.
• Participation in activities outside of class, such as clubs or volunteering.

**Hiring details

Five internship positions will be available: 

• One for Italian speakers.
• One for Spanish speakers.
• One for German speakers.
• One for Portuguese or Russian speakers.
• One requiring English only.

English proficiency is required for all positions.
