As an Power System Digitalization Intern, you will gain exposure to emerging technologies and digital solutions for the power industry. Working alongside experienced engineers and technical specialists, you will support research, analysis, and technical activities related to AI, Digital Twin technologies, and power system digitalization.

You’ll create impact by:

• AI & Innovation Research: Research and review potential AI applications in electrical power systems, particularly for grid monitoring, analysis, and operation.
• Digital Twin Solutions: Research Digital Twin concepts and solutions for power system monitoring and health assessment.
• Power System Studies & Analysis: Support basic power system modelling, simulation, and technical analysis activities where required.
• Technical Research & Benchmarking: Review technical literature and existing industry solutions, and summarize relevant findings and recommendations.
• Documentation & Presentation Support: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to support project activities and knowledge sharing.

Your defining qualities:

• Education: Currently pursuing a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Power System Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of electrical networks, power distribution systems, and power system analysis.
• Technical Tools: Experience with NEPLAN, PSS® SINCAL, or other power system simulation tools would be advantageous.
• Programming Knowledge: Basic programming knowledge in C, C++, Java, or equivalent programming languages.
• Interest in Emerging Technologies: Strong interest in AI, Digital Twin technologies, and power system digitalization.
• Analytical & Research Skills: Good analytical thinking skills with the ability to conduct independent research and technical evaluations.
