Role Summary

Join London Stock Exchange Group's (LSEG) Group Investment Management Tooling and Data team to improve how we understand investment spend, portfolio performance and delivery outcomes. We build trusted reporting and reusable data foundations that support informed decisions and reduce manual reporting.

We are recruiting Power BI developers and a hands-on Data, AI & Insights manager. Developers build and support reporting products. The manager combines team leadership with ownership of data architecture, design standards and testing strategy. Responsibilities and requirements apply to the relevant opportunity.

What you'll be doing

Power BI development

  • Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models, including enhancements, defect fixes and ongoing production support.
  • Turn ambiguous needs into requirements, prototypes and reporting; use feedback and outcome measures to improve user adoption.
  • Develop and optimise DAX calculations, Power Query transformations and SQL Server data connections; improve model efficiency, refresh reliability and dashboard usability.
  • Replace manual spreadsheet reporting with scalable, refreshable solutions; reconcile data, investigate quality issues and resolve root causes with data owners.
  • Apply reusable design, access-control and testing standards; contribute to Agile delivery, peer reviews, releases and clear technical and user documentation.

Management and data architecture

  • Lead, coach and manage the team, prioritise delivery and develop capability while personally contributing to design, problem-solving and delivery.
  • Own data architecture for governed, reusable, AI-ready data foundations supporting reporting and future AI use cases.
  • Establish design standards and testing strategy across the reporting and data portfolio; guide Agile delivery, assure quality and work with stakeholders to improve investment and transformation insights.

What you'll bring

Across all opportunities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn business needs into practical, maintainable solutions.
  • Experience of Agile delivery, design standards and quality assurance, supported by clear documentation and effective stakeholder communication.
  • A hands-on approach, ownership of outcomes and effective collaboration across business and technical teams.

Power BI development

  • Expert, recent hands-on Power BI experience, including advanced DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling and performance optimisation.
  • Strong SQL skills and practical experience working with SQL Server data sources and relational data structures.
  • Experience taking dashboards from requirements and design through testing, row-level security, deployment, refresh management and production support.

Management and data architecture

  • Proven people-management experience, including coaching, performance management and developing technical capability.
  • Experience designing governed, reusable, AI-ready data foundations and owning data architecture, design standards and testing strategy.
  • Experience in investment portfolio management or transformation, with the ability to lead delivery and remain actively involved in the work.

Desirable skills & experience

  • Hands-on experience building and deploying data pipelines and AI-ready data foundations, particularly in Snowflake.
  • Experience with Clarity, Jira, enterprise financial management platforms such as Oracle Fusion, or workforce management tooling.
  • Experience in user experience design, AI-enabled insights or automation. Investment, programme, project or financial-services reporting experience is also valuable for developer opportunities.

What you'll get in return

Work on reporting and data products used by investment and delivery leaders, with scope to improve standards, reduce manual effort and shape the team's data and AI capabilities. We welcome candidates whose strengths match either Power BI development or hands-on data leadership.
