PM II, SPIV Vendor Mgmt, Verifications & Risk Management Ops - VRMO
Are you passionate about driving vendor performance and operational excellence? Do you thrive in environments where data-driven insights shape strategic decisions and cross-functional collaboration is key to success?
The Selling Partner Identity Verification Vendor Management (SPIV VM) team is responsible for end-to-end vendor governance, managing vendor relationships, performance oversight, and operational excellence across seller-facing service vendors. SPIV VM partners with VS Tech, VS Product, Legal, TPSA (Third Party Security Assessment), SPS VM, Finance, and Global Corporate Procurement (GCP) to ensure vendor compliance, cost efficiency, and service quality throughout the vendor lifecycle — from shortlisting and selection through contract management and performance governance.
A Vendor Manager in SPIV VM owns vendor performance management, drives operational improvements, and ensures vendors meet contractual SLAs and quality benchmarks. They validate vendor data through internal dashboards, manage invoicing accuracy, collaborate with Finance on cost savings initiatives, coordinate with VS Tech, VS Product, Legal, and TPSA on vendor assessments and compliance, and support governance framework implementation. This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management across multiple teams, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in vendor operations.
Key job responsibilities
You will start your day reviewing operational dashboards to identify anomalies in vendor performance metrics. You may then dive deep into a variance analysis to understand why a particular metric is trending below target, presenting your findings to your manager. In the afternoon, you might work on building an automated report that consolidates inputs from multiple teams, or partner with Data Engineering to refine data pipelines for reporting needs. Your work directly influences decisions on operational strategy and process improvements.
About the team
The SPIV Vendor Management team operates a Dual-Face Model — an Operations Face covering onboarding, contracts, tech integration, and performance management, and a Cost Face covering budgets, invoices, accruals, POs, and spend management. The team manages processes across four pillars: Onboarding, Spend Management, Vendor Performance, and Vendor Strategy & Data Analytics. The VM role sits within the Operations & Performance function, serving as the bridge between business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams (VS Tech, VS Product, Legal, TPSA) — owning vendor governance, performance monitoring, and operational decisions. The structure is designed for interchangeability and continuity across the vendor management function.
