Summary

Apple’s Partner Operations team is seeking an experienced, highly collaborative, and technically astute Program Manager to lead platform capability expansion across our Apple services partnerships.

Description

In this role, you will bridge business strategy, technical integration, and partner execution. You will guide global partners—spanning telecommunications carriers, subscription video on demand (SVOD) providers, and retail integrators—through the onboarding lifecycle, ensuring they can seamlessly adopt new platform capabilities. You will operate comfortably in the gray, translate complex commerce and linking architectures into actionable operational workflows, and drive alignment across Business Development, Engineering, Product, QA, Marketing, Legal, and more. You will also continue to refine parter onboarding and management processes and tools, utilizing innovative approaches - knowing when to use technical tools such as AI while understanding the necessity for face to face collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • You will own the end-to-end operational lifecycle for new platform features and major partner launches. Your core responsibilities include:
  • Platform Capability & Feature Onboarding
  • Drive Partner Adoption of Platform Capabilities: Lead the operational rollout and partner adoption for emerging features to our billing platform.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to establish operational readiness for novel subscription bundling models (e.g., streaming and carrier bundles), tier upgrades/downgrades via update-entitlement APIs, and multi-country configurations.
  • Define Migration & Sunset Flows (CIP to Direct): Own the Partner Ops workstream for transitioning subscribers between partner-billed and Apple-direct models, defining end-to-end operational requirements, PVT validation flows, and subscription cancellation/revocation procedures.
  • Technical Operations
  • Lead Production Verification & Testing Strategy: Partner with Commerce QA and Central Marketing UAT to define and execute comprehensive PVT plans; coordinate partner dependencies, including test SIM sourcing, test accounts, and allowlisting.
  • Investigate Discrepancies & Resolve Blockers: Triage operational and technical blockers impacting partner launches (e.g., deep-link localization/offer sheet display issues, tax ID formatting on partner invoicing, missing commerce signals, and account unlinking edge cases).
  • Operational Infrastructure & Scalability
  • Oversee intake trackers from the partner ops team and roadmap requests for platform enhancements; prioritize requests with engineering and product teams to balance partner velocity with long-term platform health.
  • Standardize Governance & Enablement: Partner with regional teams (AMR, EMEIA, APAC) and integrators to deliver consistent integration best practices, partner capability trackers, and onboarding toolkits.
  • Drive Process Automation: Identify manual intervention points across the onboarding lifecycle and work cross-functionally to transition them into automated, self-serve, and scalable tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical program or operations management experience driving complex, partner-facing integrations, digital customer journeys, and back-end platform capabilities.
  • Deep familiarity with subscription lifecycle mechanics, recurring billing, and API-driven partner integrations
  • Proven track record in end-to-end partner onboarding & operational readiness, from defining intake processes and writing operational requirements to coordinating production verification testing (PVT/UAT).
  • Strong cross-functional orchestration skills, with the demonstrated ability to lead workstreams across Engineering, Product, Business Development, Commerce/Billing, Legal/Privacy, and Regional Operations teams globally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, with experience troubleshooting back-end event triggers, signaling mechanisms, and data-flow discrepancies across multi-party ecosystems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting technical concepts clearly to executive leadership, authoring partner-facing integration guides, and managing multi-stakeholder operational reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required; technical, engineering, or business operations background preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience in technical program management, partner operations, or systems integration.
  • Experience in telecommunications carrier billing, digital streaming services (OTT/SVOD), or digital commerce platforms is strongly preferred.
