We are looking for a Plant Manager. This position will be based at Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The Plant Manager leads the Focus Factory Manager, Fulfillment Center Manager, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Lean Manager, and their teams. Shared Quality, Maintenance, and EHS leaders support both the Roebuck and Spartanburg plants.

This leader will also be responsible for all site operations for Lighting Panels, including Receiving, Fabrication, Assembly, Warehouse, Shipping, and Fulfillment Center activities. Additional responsibilities include being accountable for safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, people development, and customer fulfillment.

You’ll make a difference by:

  • Leading all site operations for Lighting Panels, including receiving, fabrication, assembly, warehouse, shipping, and fulfillment center activities.
  • Owning daily and long-term site performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, employee engagement, and customer fulfillment.
  • Managing the site profit and loss, operating budget, productivity plan, and cost improvement roadmap for a business with approximately $275M in annual revenue and 215 employees.
  • Leading and developing the Focus Factory Manager, Fulfillment Center Manager, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Lean Manager, and their teams.
  • Setting clear goals, reviewing performance, removing barriers, and holding managers, supervisors, engineers, and technical teams accountable for results.
  • Partnering with Finance, Quality, Maintenance, Environmental Health and Safety, Human Resources, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Product Management to improve site execution.
  • Using lean methods, advanced manufacturing, and digital tools to improve flow, standard work, visual management, problem solving, productivity, material flow, and decision-making.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience with the following:
    • Manufacturing, operations, or supply chain leadership in a complex manufacturing or fulfillment environment.
    • Leading large teams, including managers, supervisors, engineers, and technical teams.
    • Owning budgets, productivity programs, cost improvement roadmaps, and direct or shared profit and loss accountability.
    • Lean manufacturing methods, including standard work, daily management, visual controls, and structured problem solving.
    • Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Quality, Maintenance, Environmental Health and Safety, Human Resources, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Product Management.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience with electrical distribution equipment, engineered-to-order products, fulfillment operations, or high-mix manufacturing.
  • Ability to develop leaders, build accountability, and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect operational decisions to financial results.
  • Experience supporting advanced manufacturing, digital tools, material flow improvements, and customer fulfillment initiatives.

The pay range for this position is $145,156 - $248,839 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
