This role executes stainless steel, carbon steel, and other common industrial steel piping work per work packages, isometrics, weld procedures, and project quality standards. Success means code-compliant weld quality, proper fit-up, and productive install that keeps process piping fronts moving. This role will be Reno local and will require travel to multiple job sites throughout the Reno Region.
Responsibilities
- Weld stainless steel, carbon steel, and other industrial steel process and utility piping systems per approved WPS/PQR, drawings, and weld maps under Foreman direction
- Fit, align, and prepare pipe joints, valves, supports, and specialties so welds meet gap, alignment, and cleanliness requirements before weld-out
- Execute assigned piping install from ISOs, P&IDs, spool drawings, and work packages; complete full pipefitter tasks as required to keep the work front productive
- Perform orbital welding and automatic/semi-automatic process work when specified; support manual stick, TIG, and MIG processes as qualified for the joint
