Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and business-oriented Performance Controller to join our Electrification & Automation (EA) Finance team in Mexico, an organization of half billion Euros in the Mesoamerica Region. In this role, you will act as a trusted business partner to EA management, driving financial transparency, performance management, profitability improvement, and decision support across the business. Lead the financial data and business intelligence agenda, ensuring reliable, timely, and actionable information to support business steering and decision-making. Define and monitor financial KPIs, reporting standards, and data management practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial expertise with analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate across functions to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

The Performance controller has 4 direct reports engaged in financial planning & analysis, The scope of responsibility includes the standardization, consolidation and implementation of performance controlling and business performance activities in 2 assigned countries in Center America (Guatemala & Salvador) and the Operations Factory in Queretaro. Key Responsibilities

Business Performance Management

Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance against targets. Support management in identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
Provide transparency on revenue, gross profit, productivity, profitability, cash flow, and operational KPIs.
Drive continuous performance improvement initiatives across the business.

Coordinate and prepare budget, forecast, and strategic planning activities.
Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
Ensure forecast accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
Support target setting and performance reviews with management teams.

Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for local and regional leadership.
Analyze financial and operational results, identifying trends, deviations, and business drivers.
Deliver actionable insights that support profitable business growth.
Ensure data consistency and compliance with Siemens financial reporting standards.

Collaborate and create synergies with Sales, Operations, Project Management, Service, and other support functions.
Challenge assumptions and provide financial guidance to improve business decisions.
Support commercial and operational initiatives from a finance perspective.
Serve as a key interface between business management and finance leadership.

Support governance, compliance, and internal control requirements.
Participate in risk assessments and mitigation planning.
Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.

Promote data-driven decision-making and finance digitalization initiatives.
Drive automation and simplification of reporting processes.
Support implementation and enhancement of performance management tools and dashboards.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Business Finance, or Performance Management.
Strong financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and variance analysis capabilities.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken) Executive level.
