As a P&O People Partner (f/m/d) in Portugal, you'll serve as the "eyes and ears" of our people, becoming the trusted point of contact for our people and leaders alike on all P&O-related topics for which human touch really matters to create a consistent people experience across the organization. Acting as a champion for people experience (PX), you’ll play a vital role in fostering trust, inclusion, growth and well-being across teams. In your role, you’ll contribute to the evolution of the interaction model of P&O, serving as an ambassador of standardization, operational excellence, and compliance with labor laws and P&O related regulations.

Your mission will be…  

• Acting as a trusted partner: You stay close to the pulse of the organization by being the point of contact for our people and leaders on people-related topics that require human judgement and interaction, including handling complex cases, emotionally sensitive people-related situations, ensuring consistent and high-quality people experience across all interactions.
• Driving compliance and alignment: You proactively ensure local compliance with labor laws, P&O policies and regulatory requirements, safeguarding the organization and its people by collaborating closely with people representatives and adapting global policies to local needs only where required.
• Collaborating across the P&O Ecosystem: You build strong partnerships with Labor Relations, Impact Teams, the LCB P&O Head, Shared Services and other P&O teams to ensure excellence in execution, compliance and experience delivery and to amplify and drive adoption of the standard P&O portfolio. 
• Fostering innovation and simplification: You identify automation opportunities and proactively contribute to data and knowledge management to ensure AI readiness. You contribute to the simplification and harmonization of policies and processes to drive AI readiness and automation together with GBS H2R, while bridging digital and human-centered approaches. 

We are looking for someone with… 

• Education: Excellent academic background, ideally in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• Experience & Skills
• Significant P&O experience (3-5 years) with a passion for people experience and local people-focused strategies in a global, dynamic environment.
• Solid expertise and the ability to manage sensitive and complex people relations matters with integrity, emotional intelligence and professionalism.
• Strong trust-building and collaboration skills, connecting the dots as a trusted advisor to people, leaders, teams and across the P&O ecosystem. 
• Deep understanding of compliance frameworks, labor laws, employee relations and local regulatory requirements.
