People Operations Employee Data Specialist

Our People Operations team bridges the gap between high-level strategy and the daily employee journey. As part of a specialized Tier 2 ecosystem, we don't just answer questions—we solve complex challenges and manage the critical employee data and life cycle events. We partner closely to ensure that while AI and automation handle the routine, our Specialists provide the deep expertise and human touch required for the most important milestones in an employee's journey.
About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Employee Data Specialist. In this role, you aren’t just moving data; you are ensuring the integrity of the information that powers our global workforce. You will manage complex data escalations, lead regional data audits, and ensure that every employee lifecycle event—from onboarding to job changes —is executed with precision. You will be the functional expert for our HRIS, driving seamless employee experiences.
Responsibilities
• Own and resolve Tier 2 escalations, providing clear, empathetic, and policy-aligned guidance that goes beyond a standard script.
• Execute complex transactions and lifecycle events—such as new hires, job changes, or terminations ensuring our system of record remains a system of trust.
• Act as a critical liaison between employees, vendors, and COEs to resolve intricate inquiries and ensure service consistency across the region.
• Partner to operationalize new programs and participate in UAT for system enhancements, ensuring regional nuances are built into global designs.
• Research and resolve data discrepancies, collaborating with Payroll, IT, and other People Ops teams.
• Collaborate to refine Tier 0 (Self-Service) and Tier 1 knowledge content, utilizing your expertise to help AI solve more problems before they reach your desk.
- Analyze case trends in ServiceNow and HRIS data to identify recurring friction points and recommend scalable, predictive solutions to improve the employee experience.
- Monitor data quality through regular audits, identify issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and new functionality.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience, with direct experience in HR data management.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in a shared services or centralized HR environment preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday, Oracle, or similar) and transaction processing.
• Strong attention to detail with proven data entry accuracy and compliance awareness.
• Ability to identify root causes and suggest process fixes rather than just treating symptoms.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
