As a Parts Advisor, you will provide critical parts support to the service centre, delivery centre and mobile technician, liaise with other departments, as well as focus on the continuous development of your skills. The Parts Advisors’ most important task is to ensure all relevant parts are available at the time of planned service for each service. This way our customers will get consistent and reliable service and our team of technicians can work in the most efficient way.

Responsibilities

• Source and allocate parts to service locations, technicians and mobile technicians
• Review jobs that are planned, receive and check quality of the relevant parts and ensure all paperwork is accurate
• Maintain organizational standards (5S) for efficiency and optimization
• Manage escalations and implement lasting improvements
• Accurately record parts transactions and data into the system, maintaining excellent attention to detail and escalating any issues. Be compliant with the Tesla

policy regarding damaged or expired inventory at Service Centers

• Escalate any parts issues from internal or external suppliers
• Monitor inventory within the parts system, rearranging any appointments where the parts will not be available on time if required
• Ensure excellent organization of the warehouse to Tesla standard as a minimum
• Consistently manage the stock level, material and warranties in the system
• Communicate any updates to technicians and Service Centers when required
• Ensuring an exceptional customer experience, by providing excellent internal communication and share information proactively
• Pick up and deliver parts using van or forklift, engaging 3rd parties when necessary
• Confidently support the technician team, collaborating with other departments when required
• Ensure all health and safety regulations and procedures are adhered to, for both employees and customers
• Process returned warranty parts for review and excess stock
• Travel and support of different locations is required
• Responsible for the end-to-end management of Service Center warehouse, including operational tasks such as: inbound (receive & put-away), outbound (returns, MRBs, inventory transfers), and inventory management (cycle count, maintain financial accuracy)
• Build a solid collaboration with Service Managers, Service Supervisors, Technicians, Mobile Technicians, and other functions in Service Centers

  Requirements

• Proven work experience within warehousing, logistics or automotive industries
• Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
• Willingness to learn new and innovative automotive technologies to further develop in role
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines and solve problems
• Basic understanding of automotive techniques related to vehicle repair
• Digitally savvy – ability to adopt and adapt quickly to new technology and systems
• Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in the English language, and other local languages if required
• Strong knowledge of MS Office
• Understand the core KPIs and how to influence these through daily tasks
• Follow all safety procedures when handling Dangerous Goods
• Must have had a valid driver’s license and maintain a valid and safe driving record
• Hold valid EHS and Dangerous Goods handling certifications in the country of employment
• Hold a forklift and/or other relevant MHE license (can be obtained through Tesla training) valid in the country of employment
