The Partner Engagement team enables meaningful executive-level interactions that drive forward Google’s strategic cross-product area objectives. We help craft memorable executive engagements with partner C-level that showcase our OneGoogle approach and position Google as the long-term AI transformation partner of choice.

We are seeking a customer experience visionary and execution-focused Program Manager to lead event operations for our flagship Executive Briefing Center (EBC), the Google Partner Plex, at our headquarters in Mountain View. The Partner Plex hosts Google’s most strategic business engagements with C-level executives and key opinion formers from around the world.

As a Partner Plex Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our on-site operations. Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to): co-hosting tours of the space for Googler executives and their guests, overseeing the local concierge team and partnering with their vendor management, developing a process with on-site teams to review all meeting spaces regularly to ensure the space is always customer-ready, own swag vendor relationship and development of custom swag per location by tier. You will also partner with the catering team on elevated event offerings, budget oversight, and manage relationships with security teams for sweeps and extra support as necessary. You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills for a variety of audiences.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage the customer experience and oversee daily operations, including escalations, logistics, operations support, space usage, budget support, future-proofing, and guidelines to support the center.
  • Serve as the local Point of Contact (POC) for our service lines, guiding the team around process changes, escalations, and own logistics-only briefings in collaboration with the Coordinator team.
  • Lead remodels, as necessary, from a program management perspective and stay informed on the budget allocation in partnership with our cross-functional partners (e.g. REWS, gTech, Large Customer Sales (LCS)).
  • Partner with event venue specialists, catering, and security coordinators to review on-site logistics, menus, and security needs for upcoming engagements.
  • Build relationships, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and drive alignment without direct authority/influence while remaining organized, analytical, and a creative problem solver.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • Experience operating an event/conference venue or briefing center for an organization.
  • Experience in project or program management.
  • Experience crafting and delivering communications, narratives, and status updates for executive leadership or executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience creating or managing executive-focused events and experiences.
  • Ability to proactively adjust and improve processes that will benefit not only our customers, but also the internal executives.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, quickly transition between projects, and adapt to unanticipated issues that arise with grace and agility to ensure positive customer experience.
