We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences.

The Partner Communications Manager leads the marketing communications strategy, planning and execution for Apple products and services in the Partner (indirect) channel. This team drives the development of partner journey’s, campaigns, and creative with some of the biggest brands around the world, shaping how Apple shows up within every touchpoint in the partners’ space, including all advertising, physical and digital environments.

Description

This role drives marketing innovation and raises the creative bar with indirect Channel Partners, while upholding the integrity of the Apple brand. The successful candidate will develop innovative partner strategies and deliver impactful creative work for Apple products and services — informed by a deep understanding of the Apple brand, partner brand identities, commercial priorities, and local market trends and challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Drive innovative partner strategies and impactful creative work for Apple products and services through a deep understanding of the Apple brand, our partner’s brands, commercial priorities, market trends and challenges.
  • Pro-actively seek out opportunities for Apple’s communication priorities to be realized in the partner space, and pitch these opportunities to partners.
  • Work across the global organization to understand both macro and comms trends for Apple product and services. Synthesize learnings into insights to drive optimization of future advertising, digital and in-store efforts, internally and externally with partners.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales teams to identify and develop partner strategies and communication plans that support the business, including advertising, digital channels and the partner’s owned marketing channels in-store and online.
  • Develop and drive global processes, across Apple products and services, to improve the quality and effectiveness of the partner work as well as the efficiency of the path to get there
  • Collaborate extensively across many teams, internationally and locally, both internally at Apple and externally with partners such as E-commerce partners, Carriers, Retailers, Banks, SMB’s and Enterprise Resellers, Media Content Providers and more.
  • Inspire and contribute to the large global network of Geo Partner Communications Managers, sharing best practices, learnings and case studies to them.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in marketing communications
  • Experience in brand communications - from strategy to execution to analysis of results.
  • A fluent English speaker with strong presentation and written abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in international account management and/or strategy at a advertising agency or in-house marketing communications for a global brand.
  • Ability to delve deep into a partner’s business, marketing strategy and consumer insights, to understand challenges and find opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of Southeast Asia’s commerce and digital platforms (social, eCRM, e-commerce platforms, content, performance marketing, digital in-store) and how they can be leveraged to deliver the most compelling product experience throughout the customer journey.
  • Passion for great work, seeing potential and nourishing it, with a tremendous ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders to drive the work forward.
  • Passion and eagerness to drive thoughtful strategy, build innovative communication plans and develop great creative and integrated campaigns.
  • Thrive as part of a cross-functional team, flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment as a member of a high-performing team, yet also have the ability to lead.
  • You can confidently build rapport, credibility and influence across multiple stakeholders in a highly matrix’d organization.
  • Experience in understanding business and product strategy and consumer insights, to build a global communications strategy for partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advanced business degree
