Apple’s Operations team ensures that Apple’s ground breaking designs become industry-leading products, delivered on time and on spec. This high profile, highly respected organization ensures the launch of products at volume on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability.
Description
OPMs are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple’s products. A successful NPI is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.
Furthermore, we lead within worldwide Operations and collaborate with the core product development team and other functional organizations within Apple.
Responsibilities
- Drive solutions across multiple cross-functional teams and through the supply chain, exercising sound judgment and influencing without direct authority
- Budget pre-Mass Production builds and requirements.
- Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality.
- Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Results driven and detail oriented project / program leadership experience
- 5+ years experience in NPI Operations Management, Supply Chain or Product/Program Management.
- 5+ Project/Program Management experience
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical expertise combined with in-factory experience a plus
- Engineering or technical degree preferred. MBA a plus.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,500 and $246,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
