About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, execution-focused, and intellectually curious operator to join the Rider team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will own two of the most exciting growth vectors in KSA: airports, one of Uber's highest-intent, highest-value use cases and strategic portfolio bets, where you'll help identify, launch, and scale new opportunities and premium mobility products.

This is a highly cross-functional and analytical role. You will work closely with local teams across Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Policy and other functions, as well as regional and global Operations teams. You will be expected to combine strong analytical thinking with hands-on execution, moving comfortably between identifying an opportunity in the data and working with teams on the ground to bring a solution to life. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, is comfortable working with data, and takes ownership of moving projects from idea to execution.

What You'll Do

  • Own Airport Rider Growth and Performance: Own the Rider performance of Uber's airport portfolio in Saudi Arabia. Monitor airport demand, conversion, reliability, ETA, product mix and other key rider metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
  • Improve the Airport Rider Experience: Identify and solve friction points across the airport rider journey, including pickup experience, pickup locations, wayfinding, product availability and the overall experience of requesting and taking an Uber from an airport.
  • Use Data to Identify Opportunities: Build a deep understanding of airport rider behavior through SQL, dashboards and other analytical tools. Diagnose performance gaps, size opportunities, develop hypotheses and translate insights into clear actions.
  • Execute Airport Growth Initiatives: Take ownership of the operational execution of airport initiatives and partnerships within the Rider scope. Work closely with Business Development and Operations teams, while supporting the execution of new commercial opportunities where relevant to the Rider experience.
  • Bring Best Practices to Saudi Arabia: Partner with EMEA and global teams to understand what is working across other Uber markets, including new airport products, features, experiments and operational best practices. Identify opportunities to test or adapt relevant solutions for Saudi Arabia.
  • Own Strategic Growth Initiatives: Lead a portfolio of strategic Rider growth initiatives outside the core Rider funnel. Take opportunities from initial hypothesis and sizing through business case development, pilot design, launch, measurement and iteration.
  • Launch and Scale New Use Cases: Support the launch and growth of new rider use cases and products in Saudi Arabia, by developing the local operating plan, coordinating launch requirements and monitoring performance after launch.
  • Grow Premium Products: Identify and execute opportunities to grow products such as Black and Comfort, with a focus on improving the rider experience, increasing product consideration and driving relevant riders toward the right product for their use case.
  • Deliver Rider Strategies for Major Events: Develop and execute Rider plans for major events, working cross-functionally to understand expected demand, identify rider experience requirements and ensure Uber is well positioned to serve riders during high-demand moments.
  • Engage External Partners: Participate in discussions with external partners and stakeholders where relevant to your portfolio, you will represent the Rider perspective and independently manage execution discussions when appropriate.
  • Be an Owner: Many of the opportunities within this portfolio will not have an existing playbook. Bring structure to ambiguous problems, identify what needs to happen next, and proactively drive projects forward while keeping relevant stakeholders closely aligned.

What You'll Need

  • 3-4 years of experience in Operations, Strategy, Growth, Management Consulting, Technology, Marketplace businesses, or a related field.
  • Strong business and operational acumen, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems and translate them into clear, actionable plans.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to use data to identify opportunities, diagnose problems and make decisions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and comfort independently working with large datasets, dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Proven project and program management skills, with experience taking initiatives from problem definition through execution and measurement.
  • Strong executional excellence and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams with different priorities and areas of expertise.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to balance rider experience, growth, operational feasibility and commercial considerations.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate effectively when the path forward is not immediately clear.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English.

Great to Have

  • Arabic language proficiency.
  • Experience in mobility, marketplaces, travel, airports, transportation, consumer technology or another high-growth industry.
