As Operations Coordinator, Fleet you will help provide our customers with an extraordinary product experience through our internal fleet of vehicles for showroom, events, test drives, mobile rangers, and other purposes. As part of the Central Europe Operations team, you will be responsible for running our fleet operations in the region (DACH and Eastern Europe) and work with our EMEA and local sales and service counterparts to help assign and organize fleet vehicles in the right locations. You will also be responsible for managing their lifecycle into our used car sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Fleet Organization: You organize and manage our internal fleet of test drive, showroom, loaner, mobile ranger, and other vehicles
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: You collaborate closely with the Registration Team, Used Cars Specialists, Logistics, Local Operation Coordinators, Sales & Service Managers, and other fleet teams
  • Efficient Allocation: You keep our fleet allocations clean, ensuring we get the most efficient use out of our vehicles
  • Visibility & Oversight: You maintain visibility into all our fleet operations, including the locations of vehicles, the state of the cars, and any actions needed to improve the car or change its use
  • Project Support: You support ad-hoc fleet-related projects such as car shows, events, Giga Factory Fleet, and others
  • Inventory & Process Improvement: You assist with periodic physical inventory Fleet Audits and continuously improve processes and data structures
  • Remarketing Integration: You cooperate with the remarketing team, integrating the vehicle trade-in and resale process to drive allocation of vehicles to various teams (Service, Supercharging, Giga Berlin, etc.)
  • Requirements

    • Drive & Initiative: You are highly motivated and a self-starter with a strong desire for constant process improvement and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Industry Passion & Delivery: You are passionate about the automotive industry, bring cross-functional experience, and have a proven ability to drive initiatives to conclusion
    • Process Expertise: You have a solid understanding of business processes and are highly attentive to detail, enabling you to understand and improve workflows.
    • Relationship Building: You have the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with both internal and external partners
    • Technical Proficiency: You work proficiently with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and possess advanced computer skills
    • Communication Skills: You have strong oral and written communication skills in English; knowledge of German is a plus
    • Relevant Experience (Plus): Knowledge of vehicle registration processing and vehicle insurance claims is a plus
