Description

As Meta's datacenter infrastructure grows rapidly in scope and scale, the increased technical complexity and velocity of new product introductions require thorough organization and integration of activities across numerous internal and external teams and manufacturing sites. The scope involves driving through dynamic and ambiguous development environments, providing clarity and alignment on supply chain and material management risks, identifying critical paths and blockers, and driving successful on-time and on-quality delivery of Meta's highest-priority NPI AI/ML hardware across our global data center footprint. You will operate across the entire NPI landscape to identify materials that are critical path or potential blockers, and manage the risks that threaten delivery. This position works closely with external manufacturing partners (ODM/OEM, suppliers, vendors, consultants) and Meta internal stakeholders including AI & Hardware Engineering, Technical Program Management, E2E NPI PM, Manufacturing Operations, Commercial/Technical/Commodity Sourcing, and all Supply Chain functions.

Responsibilities

Work with XFN hardware and software engineering business partners, data center business stakeholders, and external partners to implement NPIs with aggressive time-to-market goals, enabling the Meta infrastructure vision Review major NPI demand changes to assess the risk to the demand plan and the impact of those changes on the supply plan Identify and implement cross-functional, long-term, robust system and process for aligning NPI supply chain continuity goals and cross-program commodity management Identify, track, and manage supply chain risks across NPI programs; develop risk mitigation plans; report trends for common materials; and drive process standardization and improvements in material risk management Partner with Commercial, Technical, and Commodity Sourcing on key commodities requiring prioritization, high visibility, or escalation to meet aggressive NPI schedules, and to identify pain points and implement process improvements Partner with Supply and Demand Commodity Planning to establish long-term forecasts and prepare long-lead time materials Identify material buffers for NPI based on lead times and hardware roadmaps Manage the disposition of excess and obsolete (E&O) materials — including cross-program usage, RTV, and scrap — to minimize NPI material liability Propose and lead NPI materials planning workflow and continuous process improvements, and identify process automation opportunities Identify operational pain points and improvement opportunities across internal and external processes and workflows, and drive improvements across multiple teams and functions
