Modeling Engineer, Optimus Fleet Data Analytics

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic modeling engineer for the Optimus Powertrain Design team in Athens, with a focus on fleet data analytics — turning real data into models, metrics, and design insight for Optimus design.
Responsibilities
- Build and automate data pipelines for processing large-scale fleet telemetry data from Optimus robots.
- Analyze how robots perform in the field to inform hardware design decisions.
- Apply physics-based models to derive insights beyond raw sensor measurements.
- Develop metrics and dashboards on fleet-wide datasets to track trends, monitor hardware health and find opportunities for design improvements.
Requirements
- BSc in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent
- Several years of relevant experience, within a similar position
- Strong mathematical and statistics background
- Strong Python programming skills
- Ability to communicate in English language at a professional level, both verbally and written
The following is desirable:
- Understanding of optimization fundamentals
- Understanding of algorithmic techniques and data structures
- Experience with time-series analysis of telemetry or sensor data
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding
- Understanding of electric motors, actuators, or powertrain systems
- Experience processing large-scale datasets
