Job Summary:
The Associate Analog Engineer applies basic principles and concepts to support the design and development of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. This entry-level role is a starting point for a career in Allegro's core product development, contributing to the components that power our world-class sensors and power solutions. The Associate Engineer works on routine assignments under close supervision, learning the fundamentals of the engineering discipline and Allegro's mission to Innovate with Purpose.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the success of engineering projects by assisting in the design, simulation, and verification of basic analog circuits like amplifiers, filters, and regulators under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support the development and evaluation of integrated circuits by performing routine technical tasks, analysis, and lab characterization.
  • Execute specific portions of larger engineering projects by following detailed instructions from team leaders.
  • Ensure clear documentation of work, simulation results, and test reports for review and integration into team projects.
Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. No prior professional experience is required.
  • Basic knowledge of fundamental engineering principles, circuit theory, and semiconductor device physics.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts in the field of analog circuit design.
  • Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and basic simulation tools (like SPICE) is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
