Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic development and management of strategic suppliers—including PCA Contract Manufacturers and PCB fabricators—driving world-class performance across technology, quality, cost, and supply chain optimization. Champion innovative approaches to enable resilient, scalable, and simplified material supply chains.
  • Serve as a technical authority and consultant across cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Procurement, and Product Engineering), applying deep expertise in materials science, PCB/PCA manufacturing processes, and NPI/transfer execution to influence product design, material selection, sourcing strategies, and qualification standards.
  • Own end-to-end supplier quality and material lifecycle management, including part qualification, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure robust product performance and compliance.
  • Drive gross margin improvement and value engineering initiatives, identifying cost-reduction opportunities through design optimization, process innovation, and supply base rationalization.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional programs for new site qualification, manufacturing transfers, and supplier transitions, ensuring seamless execution, risk mitigation, and accelerated time-to-market.
  • Act as a thought leader in materials engineering, proactively identifying emerging technologies, industry trends, and strategic opportunities to strengthen competitive advantage and operational excellence.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline. Typically 8–12+ years of relevant experience, including deep specialization in PCA/PCB technologies and supplier ecosystems.
  • Recognized subject matter expertise with broad and deep knowledge of materials engineering, fabrication/assembly processes, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proven track record in supplier development, quality improvement, and cost optimization, with strong program leadership experience in NPI and product transfers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including proficiency in statistical analysis, reliability engineering, and advanced quality tools (e.g., SPC, DOE, FMEA, 8D).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing (CM) environments, high-mix/low-volume production, and global supply chain operations is an added advantage.
