Responsibilities
  • Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for new products or features, considering various testing methodologies and tools.
  • Test Case Design and Execution: Design, develop, and execute test cases covering functional, performance, reliability, and compatibility aspects.
  • Test Automation: Design and implement automated test scripts to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and ensure consistent test coverage.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Test Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed test reports, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for product improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the testing process, introduce new tools and techniques, and stay updated with industry best practices.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with test strategy development, test case design, and test execution.
  • Experience with test hardware, automation tools and frameworks .
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., C#, Python, C+) for test automation.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools
  • Experience with hardware measurement uncertainty

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of hardware testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Knowledge of different types of testing (e.g., functional, performance, regression).
  • Proficiency in using test management tools and frameworks.
  • Understanding of NPI development and software coding practices.
  • Knowledge of tester modernization projects or similar initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the Power supply products or similar technology.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
