THE ROLE

As a key leader on the FlashArray engineering team, you will drive the performance benchmarking strategy for industry-leading, high-performance storage solutions operating across on-premises and public cloud environments. In this high-impact role, you will empower a team of top-tier software engineers to optimize mission-critical product capabilities and deliver zero-downtime scalability for enterprise customers. You will partner closely with Product Management, Solutions, and Sales Engineering to transform complex customer workflows into robust performance standards that define the future of cloud and data storage.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead Performance Strategy & Execution: Define, research, and execute end-to-end performance benchmarking frameworks across FlashArray products, ensuring optimal throughput, low latency, and maximum platform efficiency.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product Management, Solutions, and Sales Engineering to validate real-world customer scenarios, translating complex operational requirements into actionable performance planning and best practices.
Empower & Mentor Engineering Talent: Provide technical direction, architectural guidance, and continuous mentorship to engineering team members to ensure high-quality software delivery, technical excellence, and on-time milestones.
Pioneer Multi-Environment Innovations: Optimize performance metrics across physical hardware platforms and cloud architectures (including CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store) to support high-demand, enterprise-grade workloads.

WHAT YOU BRING

Core Systems Engineering Mastery: Deep technical foundation in systems-level programming languages (such as C, C++, Python, Go, or Java) with proven experience architecting solutions in operating systems, distributed systems, Linux kernel, database internals, hypervisors, containers, or compiler optimization.
Technical Leadership & Benchmarking Expertise: Demonstrated track record of leading software engineering teams in performance engineering, establishing benchmarking metrics, and driving product quality for large-scale enterprise systems.
Collaborative System Design Sensibility: Strong collaborative skills and design acumen with a history of solving complex architectural challenges alongside multi-disciplinary engineering and product teams.
In-Office Location Requirement: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore, India office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
