Description and Requirements

Job Overview: Responsible for mechanical design and engineering of Autonomous Driving/In-Vehicle Infotainment compute projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

List the essential duties required to carry out this job.

  • Mechanical design and engineering of Autonomous Driving/In-Vehicle Infotainment compute products
  • Co-work with Thermal/EE/layout engineer to perform mechanical design, PCBA stacking design, material and process definition
  • Mechanical part DFM / DFA review, tooling trial review and approval
  • Track projects and progress through regular reviews
  • Assist product cost control and cost down
  • Build lessons learn, keep learning new technology, process and material

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience, with bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 1+ years of Automotive Electronics product experience
  • Experience in developing of products from requirement to mass products
  • Familiar with GD&T, TSA, DFMEA, etc.
  • Skilled with software tools, like Creo, Catia
  • Familiar with Automotive connectors and related vendors
  • Work in a self-motivating way and autonomously find correct direction to solve problems
