Overview: Join Xerox as a Materials Engineer II, where you will apply your expertise in semiconductor materials to support the development and delivery of xerographic printers, scanners, and related technologies. This hands-on engineering role combines laboratory analysis, technical problem-solving, and collaboration across R&D and manufacturing teams. You will help evaluate materials, product performance, and reliability while working with multidisciplinary engineering teams and global vendors. Why Join This Team:

What You Will Do:
  • Analyze electronic and semiconductor materials to support product development and manufacturing activities
  • Conduct laboratory testing using optical microscopy, SEM, X-ray imaging, chip decapsulation, cross-sectioning, BGA analysis, and related techniques
  • Interpret technical data and provide recommendations regarding materials, product performance, and reliability
  • Collaborate with onsite engineering teams across multiple disciplines and partner with global vendors
  • Perform laboratory activities in accordance with chemical hygiene and radiation safety requirements
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Materials Engineering
  • 3 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of silicon processing techniques and microelectronics packaging
  • Strong laboratory, analytical, technical problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
  • Experience with ion polishing, particle manipulation, and dimensional or morphological measurement techniques is a plus
