Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as a critical liaison between customers, warehouse operations, manufacturing, and supply chain partners to ensure timely material movement, inventory accuracy, and resolution of customer requests.
The ideal candidate will possess strong SAP knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, customer support, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve customer requests through the ServiceNow Customer Service Request (CSR) system, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Provide professional, responsive, and effective communication to customers and internal stakeholders regarding material status, inventory availability, and request updates.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and act as a trusted resource for customer requirements and expectations.
- Investigate and resolve material-related issues by conducting inventory research, stock checks, material location activities, goods receipt transactions, and material expediting.
- Execute and monitor inventory transactions within SAP, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established business processes.
- Verify vendor documentation and labels prior to accepting material into inventory.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse personnel, manufacturing teams, procurement, logistics partners, and fellow Material Coordinators to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and proactively escalate issues that may impact customer satisfaction or operational performance.
- Operate powered industrial equipment, including pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts, while adhering to all safety requirements.
- Perform frequent walking, standing, and movement throughout the warehouse to support daily operational activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in material handling, inventory control, logistics, supply chain operations, or a related field.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using SAP for inventory management, material movements, goods receipt, and transaction processing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, business partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, troubleshoot issues, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating powered industrial vehicles and material handling equipment.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution operations.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking and standing throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, move, push, or pull materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to safely handle materials and operate warehouse equipment, computers, and handheld scanning devices.
Work Environment
- Primarily warehouse and logistics operations environment.
- Regular exposure to varying temperatures, equipment noise, and warehouse traffic.
- Compliance with all safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
