About this opportunity:
Join Ericsson’s Radio Research and Development organization in Sweden as a Master Thesis Student Intern and contribute to an efficiency improvement project at the heart of radio product development. You will work with data analysis, automation and visualization to help improve how R&D project portfolios and capabilities support internal product plans. Collaborating with Program Leaders, Business Controllers and Finance teams across Radio R&D and other Ericsson R&D units, you will become part of a strong, positive and cross-functional team where your insights can help shape better decisions and more efficient ways of working.
What you will do:
You will participate in special projects and turn complex project, financial and capability data into clear insights. Your work will include analysing trends, interpreting reports, creating weekly progress reporting and visualizations, and supporting Program and Project Leaders and Finance Controllers in planning changes. You will also help refine tools and processes for project decision tracking, capability and competence management, and budget and capacity optimization across different scenarios. As part of Ericsson’s transformation journey, you will explore AI-enabled approaches to improve or replace existing tools and processes.
The skills you bring:
- Structured, driven and curious mind
- Interest in building a future in data analytics, engineering, business management, finance or a related field, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer science
- Experience with data analytics or AI tools and Excel VBA
- Good English skills
- Integrity, a positive can-do attitude
