Your Impact
The Master Scheduler serves as the central architect for the Master Production Schedule (MPS), bridging front-end foundry operations with back-end OSAT manufacturing to ensure a high-confidence, feasible production plan. This role requires a proactive approach to process design, building scalable tools from the ground up within a lean, AI-enabled environment. By managing the flow of materials and capacity, the Master Scheduler balances service levels against cost and obsolescence risk, ensuring that production remains aligned with customer commitments through rigorous data analysis and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include:
- MPS Development: Build and own the weekly Master Production Schedule, directing builds through advanced packaging manufacturing.
- Strategic Partnerships: Partner directly with Foundry and OSAT providers to unify front-end and back-end manufacturing workflows.
- Process Architecture: Design and implement scalable processes and tools to manage production planning, thriving in ambiguous environments.
- Material Coordination: Work with Materials Planning to procure critical advanced packaging components, such as substrates, HBM, and interposers, while minimizing shortage and obsolescence risks.
- Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve capacity and scheduling bottlenecks to safeguard customer commitments.
- Inventory Management: Oversee work-in-progress and finished goods inventory by establishing target planning, reorder points, and min/max levels in the ERP.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)—including on-time delivery, P2P attainment, and cycle time—to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Master Scheduling, materials planning, or production planning within the semiconductor industry.
- In-depth understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, assembly, and testing.
- Experience working with outsourced manufacturing partners (foundries, assembly/test), with direct foundry engagement preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- 3+ years experience creating, deploying, maintaining, evolving capacity & resource supply models.
- Direct ownership and experience deploying new processes related to supply planning, materials planning, and/or production scheduling.
- Ability to both maintain the MPS engine as well as orchestrate the schedule across several cross-functional teams.
