Marketing Signals Centre of Excellence Regional Lead
The Marketing Signals Center of Excellence within the Global Marketing Engines & Experiences Group is leading the marketing transformation of Microsoft’s largest and fastest growing commercial businesses. Our always-on acquisition and nurture Lifecycle Marketing Programs work across segments, targeting business and audiences across our commercial portfolio with programs available in 50+ markets and 30 languages. The team is modernizing and integrating these channels through advanced analytics, marketing automation, and digital marketing. Global Marketing Engines & Experiences acquires millions of new contacts annually which can be nurtured into leads and sales recommendations to enable connected digital marketing and modern selling journeys. We are on a mission to drive market share, consumption, and consistent revenue growth. The Marketing Signals Center of Excellence team’s purpose is to help sales grow pipeline by continuously tuning our signal & recommendation process to priority business outcomes. The Regional team owns and runs regional digital sales connections connected to global Marketing strategy, within region and time zone, impacting performance & growth.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Organizational Partnership: Build strong trusted relationships and partnerships, own alignment on RoBs and depth engagement model(s), understand and align on strategic initiatives, and optimize models for key outcomes and impact. Performance & Insights Leader: Drive always-on regional depth analysis of marketing efficacy, own and deliver regional signals insights and trends into respective audiences to impact performance planning and execution, deliver insights in key strategic meetings (MBRs, QBRs, etc.), and drive innovation and strategic thinking for evolution. Apply in-depth knowledge of the business to proactively identify and address business concerns and evaluate the efficacy of data for answering business questions, including signal reporting, through deep partnerships across Marketing & Sales organizations. Listening System Leadership: Uncover regional insights through ownership of feedback mechanisms, share best practices for broad impact, own alignment with key stakeholders, drive progress aligned to enhancements and improvements, and innovate through pilots leveraging depth regional and global relationships. Regional Marketing Signals Center of Excellence SME: Be the regional Marketing signals subject matter expert (SME), influence strategic decisions with data-driven insights, drive feedback and insights into broader Marketing and Sales for continuous improvement and evolution, and partner with key stakeholders to support enablement program efficacy
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years integrated marketing or sales, marketing or sales strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience OR equivalent experience. Knowledge of and the ability to carry out the process of planning, organizing, and managing tasks and resources to accomplish a well-defined objective; including the ability to manage and provide project deliverables, optimize the contribution of the people involved, and assess the impact of project or program decisions on quality, productivity, schedules, cost, performance, etc. Experience leading sales or marketing planning and execution with an understanding of how connected sales and marketing works from development through to execution. Sales or marketing operations experience with proven examples of the rigor required to drive demonstrable impact. Experience working with and presenting to executive leadership. Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships and engagements, including identifying stakeholders, prioritizing their concerns, managing expectations, and planning and monitoring stakeholder engagements; proven history of successfully running multiple stakeholder engagements simultaneously. Ability to garner support for initiatives by gaining the respect of others and inspiring trust and confidence. Comfort with high levels of ambiguity and ability to have impact through influence. Ability to apply value selling by communicating a value proposition to internal and external audiences, including evangelizing & creating clarity around our Connected Sales & Marketing strategy.
