In this role, you will work closely with the Central European leadership team to rapidly scale and expand the network of Tesla locations across 8 markets in Central Europe. As a Market Expansion Associate, you will be responsible for the development of the expansion strategy and its execution.

You will work directly with Sales, Service, and Delivery leaders as well as the Real Estate and Infrastructure Development team to create and implement market growth strategies. As part of this team, you will develop in-depth knowledge of market dynamics across Central Europe to define cohesive business plans and align on the top company priorities to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives. You will have the unique opportunity to further develop your skills in data-driven strategic planning and day-to-day operations, and to apply your skills in qualitative and quantitative analysis, project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • You own the market expansion planning and analytics process, including forecast analysis, market expansion strategy, and operational setup
  • You conduct in-depth market research and combine qualitative and quantitative analysis to define and execute the expansion strategy
  • You use internal and external data tools to build the plans and business cases for opportunities, and to forecast expected demand, utilization, and headcount for new infrastructure projects
  • You communicate effectively with the senior management team to establish, present, and discuss business cases for expansion projects and align business priorities
  • You coordinate search campaigns and conduct site visits to ensure we identify the ideal infrastructure in key markets and cities
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams and local Sales and Service teams to structure and accelerate the opening of new locations
  • You coordinate with business planning counterparts on wider expansion plans and performance monitoring across EMEA

  • You are passionate about strategy, business development, project management, operations, and process improvement
  • You are willing to travel across Central Europe for project work
  • You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English; German is a plus
