Manufacturing Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for leading 24/7 manufacturing operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality technology products. This role oversees production supervisors and manufacturing teams, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.

5-8 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including supervision of production teams.

Experience in a high-volume, technology, electronics, or advanced manufacturing environment preferred.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing metrics, Lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Success in this role is measured through achievement of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and employee engagement objectives while ensuring reliable manufacturing performance in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day production operations across multiple shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and customer delivery requirements.

Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and frontline employees.

Monitor and improve key performance indicators including safety, quality, output, yield, OEE, labor productivity, and on-time delivery.

Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to resolve operational challenges and improve performance.

Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production capacity.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Manage workforce planning, staffing, training, performance management, and employee engagement activities.

Support budget objectives and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational excellence.

Salary Range: USD 89K -165K *plus potential/variable compensation for eligible roles
