About the Opportunity
Applied Materials' Manufacturing Business Unit is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence across our operations. Our teams focus on delivering high-quality equipment through operational excellence, smart manufacturing, automation, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
As a Manufacturing Intern, you will contribute to project-based initiatives that support manufacturing operations, productivity improvement, factory automation, process optimization, industrial engineering, logistics, and data-driven decision-making. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing operations, automation, and process improvement initiatives
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and productivity opportunities
- Assist in the development of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics
- Support smart factory, digitalization, and automation projects
- Participate in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve project objectives
- Conduct research, prepare presentations, and document project outcomes
About You
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at a local university in Singapore
- Internship must be a mandatory or credit-bearing component of your academic curriculum
- Able to provide a valid internship support letter from your university for onboarding purposes
- Available for a full-time internship with a minimum commitment of 20 weeks between January and June 2027
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
