Help bring high-performance photonic measurement products from prototype to production.

Join Keysight’s photonics team and work on products such as tunable lasers and optical power meters. You will develop and maintain manufacturing processes, automate optical testing, and support the introduction of new products.

Your work will span the manufacturing lifecycle, from defining processes during product development to optimizing established production lines.

• Develop manufacturing processes: Define, design, and implement processes focused on quality and reliability for photonic measurement products.
• Shape the manufacturing strategy: Define and implement goals for manufacturability, serviceability, and quality during product development and beyond.
• Optimize workflows and test automation: Develop tooling and software solutions to improve manufacturing processes and automate testing.
• Implement production lines: Establish production lines at Keysight and our outsourcing partners.
• Analyze processes and failure modes: Identify opportunities for improvement and ensure production line quality and reliability.
• Support new product introduction: Bring products from the prototype stage to manufacturing maturity.

• M.S. or B.A. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on optical communications, Physics, or a similar discipline.
• Knowledge of optical measurement techniques.
• Academic knowledge of photonics, quantum electronics, optical telecommunications, and hardware concepts.
• Understanding of process automation and software development.
• Understanding of the design, implementation, and operation of optical test and measurement solutions.
• Interest in manufacturing line design, quality analysis, and manufacturing process optimization.
• Strong motivation to meet product development schedules and world-class manufacturing expectations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within and across teams.
• Good English and German language skills, at least B2 level.
