Managing Producer, Channel 3D Experience Design

Apple's 3D Experience (3DX) team develops physical deliverables in support of Marcom's initiatives and creative intent, including visual merchandising experiences, installations, fixtures, furniture, and design solutions for Apple's worldwide retail and channel partners. The team reports into Marcom and collaborates closely with Industrial Design, Product Marketing, Sales, Channel Operations, Marcom Interactive, Design, and Strategy.
Description
This role leads a team of Producers partnered with a multi-disciplinary design team to develop store designs, furniture, product experiences, and accompanying standards that support Apple's worldwide Channel goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Producers responsible for Channel program development, visual merchandising strategy, and store design across Apple's global channel partners
- Plan and execute the development of all worldwide physical Channel programs in close partnership with the Channel 3DX Creative Director and cross-functional partner teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for physical Channel deliverables across Marcom and the broader Apple organization
- Organize project intake, budgets, and roadmaps for the Channel 3D Design team, ensuring financial and team resources are prioritized and allocated to the right initiatives
- Drive creative solutions to ongoing business needs that increase sales and enhance the customer journey in partner retail environments
- Evolve processes and tools to consistently deliver best-in-class retail experiences, including developing new working models that respond to changing business needs
- Foster a collaborative and engaging work environment for direct reports and the extended Channel 3D Experience Design team
- Build and expand a network of close collaborators across Marcom, Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Product Marketing
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience managing the development of store design, retail fixture, or visual merchandising programs
- 3+ years of experience directly managing teams in store design, retail fixture, or visual merchandising
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through creative development and production for retail deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build consensus and drive decisions across a matrixed organization
- BA/BS or equivalent degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in retail fixture or visual merchandising program management with a leading retailer or global brand
- Deep understanding of product display, customer journey mapping, and floor plan development for retail store design
- Experience leading initiatives in partner-led branded and unbranded retail environments
- Track record of driving process improvement and operational excellence in a creative production environment
- Experience managing vendor and fabrication partner relationships for physical retail deliverables
- Familiarity with retail construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Experience leading work and driving alignment across teams with varying expertise like store design, visual merchandising, engineering, production, operations, and finance
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $195,200 and $351,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
