Responsibilities
Segment Marketing

  • Define and maintain ICP frameworks and segment prioritization across nCino’s priority North America industry segments, in partnership with Product and Sales.
  • Own segment-level narratives, positioning, and buyer-journey messaging so each segment’s GTM reflects its distinct buyers, use cases, and competitive context.
  • Lead segment research, market opportunity sizing, and industry analyses to guide where nCino invests GTM effort.
  • Develop segment-level go-to-market plans and campaign strategy to drive pipeline and market share within each priority segment.

Partner Marketing

  • Own partner co-marketing strategy: joint value propositions, co-branded campaigns, and partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline across the technology and solution-provider ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain partner enablement including partner-facing narratives, decks, and playbooks.
  • Establish and report on segment and partner marketing performance metrics tied to pipeline, influence, and reach.
  • Develop, implement and maintain partner GTM alignment framework

Shared / Cross-Functional

  • Attract, grow, and retain talent; manage personnel, professional development, and hiring for the Segment and Partner Marketing team.
  • Develop annual and quarterly goals in alignment with broader Marketing, Sales, and Product goals, and ensure goals are tracked and met.
  • Manage the team budget and spend.
  • Act as the main point of contact and prioritization owner for segment and partner marketing requests from stakeholders across the business.
  • Ensure all segment and partner marketing materials reflect the nCino brand.
  • Maintain working fluency in the nCino Platform to guide messaging and enable partners (deep solution-by-solution demo ownership sits with Product Marketing).
  • Lead the team in developing collateral including segment materials and partner playbooks.
  • Continually research the banking, credit union, and priority-segment landscape to stay current on trends, news, and analysis.
  • Perform competitive analysis relevant to segment and partner positioning, staying current on the ever-changing competitor landscape.
  • Work cross functionally within Marketing and across nCino departments, customers, partners, and prospects to identify and scope segment and partner marketing projects.

Candidate Skills
Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or comparable field plus 8 years  minimum of functional experience and 2 years of management experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education and superior performance.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and communication/presentation skills
  • Data mining expertise and the ability to draw conclusions and recommendations from complex data and cross-reference multiple data sets
  • Proven track record of writing industry reports/analyses and monitoring industry trends and news
  • Experience doing competitor analysis and forming ROI calculators for products
  • Motivated to achieve and exceed metrics and revenue goals related to products
  • Proven track record of designing and writing marketing copy and content
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle deadlines and prioritize work in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to evaluate product marketing requests from various stakeholders, develop project plans, constantly prioritize and act as the main point of contact for the Product Marketing Team
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proactive, motivated, self-starter with the ability to use their own initiative to complete the task on time with high quality.
  • Strong presentation skills and a wiz at building PowerPoints

Ideal:

  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proven researcher with expertise in bank subsectors

Desired:

  • MBA or graduate related marketing degree

Location: We're looking for someone based near our HQ in Wilmington, NC. We're also open to candidates in Charlotte or Raleigh who can visit HQ 1-2 times/month, or candidates open to relocating.
