The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000 - $244,000 + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.
Position reports to the Google office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps and recommendations to enhance client cloud security architecture, governance, and standards based on leading industry practices.
- Lead client engagements as the primary subject matter expert, overseeing project execution, managing escalations, and communicating deliverables to all stakeholders.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with senior client and internal stakeholders to secure buy-in, advise on technology use, and identify new business opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members and coach internal and external teams on new solutions, technical skills, and industry best practices to foster growth.
- Drive technical innovation by creating repeatable solutions, best practice recommendations, and other content to improve engagement execution and operational efficiency. Contribute to the technical vision and long-term goals of the team, leading change initiatives to meet evolving customer and organizational needs. Domestic travel of more than 10% is required.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Security Consulting-related occupation.
- Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Technology Management, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Security Consulting-related occupation.
- Position requires 3 years of experience in the following: Cybersecurity solution assessment across multiple security domains or Cybersecurity architecture review; Cybersecurity program development utilizing systems thinking or Development of security strategy and roadmaps; Executive influencing for the adoption of proposed cybersecurity solutions or Executive stakeholder management for security investments; Consulting with stakeholders using structured discovery to define cybersecurity requirements or Security requirements gathering and analysis; and Project management of cybersecurity initiatives or Program management of security portfolios.
