Job Summary
Palo Alto Networks is looking for a highly motivated Internal Audit Manager to join our Corporate Internal Audit Team in a high-growth environment. You will lead Sales and Channel audit projects, evaluating operational processes and driving end-to-end testing cycles to enhance risk mitigation. This role offers the opportunity to manage a rapidly growing Channel Audit program, introduce leading practices, and communicate critical risks to global stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a proactive project manager skilled in leveraging AI to assess operational, financial, and regulatory risks while collaborating with cross-functional business partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, evaluate, and report on assessments and audits with a focus on Sales and Channel go-to-market processes.
- Leverage AI and advanced analytics to identify emerging risks, enhance audit testing, and drive greater efficiency in the audit lifecycle.
- Analyze audit findings to identify process gaps, research industry trends, and formulate practical recommendations for process improvement and control optimization.
- Evaluate new processes, policies, and systems to improve organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and enhance risk mitigation activities.
- Develop productive business partner relationships and proactively interact with key management personnel to gather information, resolve problems, and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of audit experience from publicly traded companies and/or public accounting firms.
- Essential experience in auditing Sales and Channel operations, including external and/or internal audit roles.
- Proven experience in operational auditing, risk management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, operational processes, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify areas of improvement.
- Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards, such as the FCPA.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple audits concurrently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in audit documentation and reporting.
- Experience in leading high-performing, high-throughput, and efficient project teams.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent (or equivalent military experience).
- Must be able to work from our Bangalore office 3 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a multinational corporate environment and/or Big 4 accounting firm.
- Combination of audit and operations experience, particularly with cybersecurity or technology companies leveraging a diverse partner ecosystem.
- Experience with or a strong interest in applying AI and machine learning concepts to internal audit processes.
- CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent certifications.
