Rate of Pay: $253,200 to $284,000 per year

What you’ll do
- Leads the team responsible for implementing, testing and maintaining distributed database systems.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software systems, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices and quality standards.
- Establish technical direction, guide architectural decisions, and drive continuous improvement in tools, processes, and system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Operations to define technical requirements and deliver business-aligned solutions.
- Plan and manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful and timely delivery of complex software initiatives.
- Manage software engineering teams by recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating engineers to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- May telecommute.
- Will supervise at least one (1) Software Engineer/15-1252.
Basic Qualifications
- Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Statistics, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Position requires:
- Programming language concepts: C++, Python, and Java;
- Relational database concepts: SQL and MySQL;
- Source control system: git and svn;
- Data structures and algorithms development and functionality;
- Debugging and monitoring for production services;
- Designing technology stacks;
- Distributed System: Service Oriented Architecture;
- Database performance analysis.
