Job Description

Visa’s Stablecoin team is building cutting edge onchain infrastructure to change the way money moves. While onchain solutions started as niche and speculative, they are now transforming the way money moves across all financial ecosystem participants.   

Visa is at the forefront of that transition. We are rapidly expanding our stablecoin infrastructure to enhance our network and develop solutions for our partners around the globe. As a Manager on the Stablecoin team, you will be at the leading edge of Visa’s innovation. The problems you will solve on our team are some of the highest stakes, challenging questions Visa faces. Our team is dedicated to defining Visa’s stablecoin strategy, building the products that bring that vision to life, and scaling those products around the world. In this role you will develop a toolkit in three domains: defining executive strategy, developing and designing product solutions, and creating practical commercial opportunities for Visa.

Situated within Visa’s Growth Products and Partnerships organization, over time, you can continue to grow within the Stablecoin team or move to other product and partnerships groups within the broader organization.  

As a member of our team, you will:  

  • Define Visa’s strategic vision for expanding its stablecoin capabilities 
  • Lead or support major workstreams across strategic projects, developing unique and creative solutions that strengthen Visa’s Stablecoin capabilities  
  • Work closely with product specialists to design products and solutions that solve our clients and Visa’s needs 
  • Communicate recommendations to Visa’s executives on strategy and product vision, including senior management of businesses, function, and regions with coaching on clear impactful communication   
  • Lead cross-functional teams to bring our product vision to life, including across technology, product specialists, regional teams, legal and others   

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD 

Preferred:

  •  6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,  JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD  
  • 5–8+ years of experience at top-tier Management Consulting firms, corporate strategy team, high performing startup, or investment bank 
  • Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry not required, but a plus 
  • Strong understanding of stablecoin ecosystems and broader digital asset market dynamics a plus 
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programs across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial modeling 
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, including the capability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment 
  • Track record of stakeholder management across technical, legal, compliance, and operational functions 
  • Experience working with legal and regulatory teams, particularly on financial regulations, digital assets, or compliance matters 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials for executive leadership 
  • Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior managers and external business partners 
  • Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities  

Information for US Applicants

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $146,200.00 to $ 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
