Manager, Digital Transformation & AI

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers’ products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world’s largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of over 17 million 12-inch equivalent wafers in 2025. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Transformation: Lead AI & Digital Engineering initiatives to optimize Corporate Planning Organization (CPO) business processes, driving enterprise-wide digital transformation and operational efficiency.

2. AI Solution Development & Architecture: Oversee end-to-end development and architectural design of AI-powered solutions, including ML models, containerized applications, and Kubernetes integration.

3. Process Innovation: Spearhead business process re-engineering and design advanced solutions for critical areas like capacity planning, production control, and supply chain optimization.

4. Cross-functional Integration: Ensure seamless integration of AI techniques into intelligent systems and workflows through strong cross-functional collaboration.

5. Technology Advancement & Mentorship: Drive continuous innovation by applying emerging AI/ML technologies and provide technical leadership and mentorship to data science teams.

Job Qualifications

1. Education & Experience: M.S./Ph.D. in a relevant technical field with 10+ years of IT experience in semiconductor, supply chain, or digital transformation, including 2+ years in leadership.

2. AI/Digital & Architecture Expertise: Proven expertise across the entire AI/Digital product lifecycle, from data processing to model deployment, including solution architecture, and familiarity with foundational AI techniques.

3. Leadership & Management: Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in dynamic environments, coupled with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

4. Strategic Acumen: Possess a strategic mindset focused on delivering impactful AI/digital products that drive tangible business value.

5. Infrastructure Plus: Experience with semiconductor company operations and IT infrastructure (Infra) is a significant plus.
