Your Impact
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our critical data centre infrastructure.
Reporting to the Maintenance Service Manager, you will coordinate the end-to-end maintenance program across the site, working closely with Operations, Engineering, technicians, contractors and service partners.
You will help ensure planned and corrective maintenance is properly scheduled, safely coordinated, completed to the required standard and accurately recorded, while minimising operational risk to our customers and critical infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the site’s planned preventative and corrective maintenance activities across critical electrical, mechanical and building systems.
- Maintain and manage the site’s 52-week maintenance plan, ensuring upcoming works are effectively scheduled, resourced and communicated.
- Manage maintenance work orders through the CMMS, including planning, scheduling, completion, documentation and close-out.
- Coordinate technicians, contractors, vendors and service providers to support safe and efficient delivery of maintenance activities.
- Review maintenance service reports to confirm work has been completed against the required scope, maintenance standard and contracted requirements.
- Ensure maintenance records, asset information, service reports and supporting evidence are complete, accurate and audit-ready.
- Track defects, corrective actions, overdue maintenance and recurring equipment issues through to resolution.
- Support the preparation and coordination of maintenance-related changes, access requests, work methods and operational documentation.
- Maintain accurate asset data and maintenance history within the CMMS and support updates to the asset register.
- Support statutory and regulatory maintenance requirements and ensure relevant documentation and certification is maintained.
- Monitor maintenance performance, backlog, completion rates and other key maintenance KPIs, providing regular reporting to site leadership.
- Support asset condition assessments and identify reliability trends, recurring failures and opportunities to improve equipment performance.
- Work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to assess maintenance risk and minimise impact to critical infrastructure.
- Support internal, customer and external audits by ensuring maintenance documentation and records meet required standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes, vendor performance, asset reliability and maintenance quality.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in maintenance coordination, planning or facilities management, ideally within a critical environment, data centre, industrial facility or similar operation.
- A technical qualification or trade background in electrical, mechanical, building services or a related discipline.
- Experience using CMMS or facilities management platforms such as ServiceNow, Maximo, Tririga or similar.
- Good understanding of planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and asset lifecycle principles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple maintenance activities and priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around maintenance records, documentation and asset data.
- Proven ability to coordinate contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks, resolving issues and improving maintenance outcomes.
- Experience working in a safety-critical or high-availability environment will be highly regarded.
