Description and Requirements

Job duties:

• Assume responsibility for technical setup within a radio and television station, with support and guidance from the Team Leader.

• Provide 24/7 operational, monitoring, and maintenance services for Presentation Room, Video Control Center (VCC), Master Control Room (MCR), Internet Presentation Center (IPC), and Central Control Room (CCR)

• Perform maintenance of broadcast equipment to board level across both radio and television stations.

• Deliver maintenance and support services for network infrastructure, IT systems, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.

• Conduct preventive maintenance for production studios and broadcast equipment under the supervision of the Team Leader, in accordance with the regular schedule defined by the client.

• Participate in the setup of outside broadcasting (OB) operations based on requirements specified by the client.

• Implement minor projects related to system enhancement, renovation, or equipment replacement for the client.

• Document all completed work and any changes made.

Requirements:

• Degree or higher in electronic, telecommunications, information technology, multi-media or equivalent academic qualification; and at least one (1) year of post-qualification experience in maintaining and operating TV broadcast and/or Radio broadcast or media production or IT or data network facilities; or

• Diploma or higher in electronic, telecommunications, information technology, multi-media or equivalent academic qualification; and at least three (3) years of post-qualification experience in maintaining and operating TV broadcast and/or Radio broadcast or media production or IT or data network facilities or all or any of them; and

• Competency in spoken English and Cantonese.
