• UNIX/Linux Infrastructure Operations: Provide administration, performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting of enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Euler Linux) and legacy UNIX platforms (AIX) supporting our container backends.

• Government Compliance & Security Hardening: Ensure all containerized workloads, clusters, and underlying UNIX/Linux hosts strictly comply with HKSAR Government security regulations, Baseline IT Security Guidelines (GSI), and container security best practices (image vulnerability scanning, RBAC, network policies).

• CI/CD & Automation: Collaborate with development teams to build robust CI/CD pipelines, containerize legacy and microservices applications, and automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Helm.

• High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Configure clustering, persistent storage integrations (CSI), ingress controllers, and backup strategies to guarantee high availability (99.99%+) for critical public sector services.

• Incident & Problem Management: Serve as the Level 3 escalation technical expert for complex system and cluster-level issues, conducting root-cause analysis (RCA) and implementing durable corrective actions.

• Audit & Documentation: Maintain accurate architecture topologies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and audit trails to support frequent government security risk assessments and audits (SRAA/ITSA).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 6–8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise UNIX/Linux system engineering, with at least 3 years specializing in enterprise container platforms (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker) within large-scale environments—preferably supporting HKSAR Government departments or public sector projects.

• Technical Expertise:

o Expert knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and upstream Kubernetes administration.

o Strong command of enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9, CentOS, Rocky Linux) and core networking/protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, ingress/egress).

o Proven experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Gitlab CI/Jenkins).

o Familiarity with container security tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Aqua Security, Quay) and container registry management.

• Certifications: Professional certifications such as RHCSA / RHCE, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration are highly preferred.

• Compliance & Standards: Prior working knowledge of government IT security audits, risk assessment methodologies, and secure software supply chain practices.
