Infrastructure Services is part of IS&T and the foundation of Apple's global network operations — managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services for teams across Apple, including its internal developer community. From individual facilities to a worldwide network, Infrastructure Services ensures the technology underneath everything works without question.
The Data Center logistics team is responsible for supporting Apples Enterprise of Apple owned and operated Data Centers and Co-Locations globally through shipping, receiving, inventory and reverse logistics.
Description
We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Logistics Technician who takes ownership of the work in front of them and every opportunity for improvement. This role is built for someone with a strong work ethic who leads by example on the floor, thinks strategically about scaling operations, and treats accuracy and safety as non-negotiable standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement — Partner with peers to identify inefficiencies and recommend changes to site policies and procedures that strengthen standard methodologies and support long-term operational growth.
- Lead daily execution with precision — Plan and prioritize daily work assignments to maximize workflow accuracy and productivity across the data center.
- Coordinate cross-functionally — Work closely with other departments and vendors to ensure smooth, efficient operations and proactively flag risks before they become problems.
- Own key processes as a subject matter expert — Help define, build, and refine core logistics and warehouse workflows, with an eye toward scalability as the operation grows.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and accuracy standards — Track and document activity across the data center, ensuring every record is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Uphold quality and compliance — Examine materials, equipment, and processes to meet local, company, and legal requirements, catching discrepancies before they become issues.
- Champion operational excellence and safety — Drive best practices across warehouse management systems, safety protocols, space layout, and general organization (5S) to maintain a clean, safe, and high-performing environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic computer skills, including comfort learning and navigating new software systems.
- Basic understanding of warehousing, inventory control, and general logistics operations.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and daily tasks.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid Driver’s License

- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a genuine commitment to upholding them as a non-negotiable standard.
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn warehouse management systems and related software.
- Proficiency using Apple products and software (Keynote, Numbers, Pages).
