Logistics Coordinator - Export & Customs
Siemens Odense is looking for a proactive and service-minded Logistics Coordinator to support our global logistics operations. You will help ensure that shipments are delivered worldwide safely, compliantly, on time, and cost-effectively.
Working closely with colleagues, customers, freight forwarders, and suppliers, you will coordinate transportation, customs activities, export documentation, and daily logistics operations. No two days are alike, and we value a willingness to learn just as much as prior experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate global shipments by air, sea, road, and courier.
• Manage freight forwarders and transportation providers.
• Handle export, import, customs, and trade compliance activities.
• Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation.
• Support dangerous goods transportation and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse, project, and order management teams.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvements in logistics processes, cost efficiency, and service levels.

You ensure on-time deliveries, maintain compliance with international trade requirements, support cost-efficient transportation solutions, and contribute positively to collaboration across the business.
Qualifications
• Education within Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Freight Forwarding, or similar.
• Experience within logistics, transportation, export administration, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of customs procedures, Incoterms, and international transportation is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems (NAV, SAP, or similar).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Relevant Backgrounds
Logistics Coordinator, Freight Forwarder, Export Coordinator, Shipping Coordinator, Customs Assistant, Transportation Coordinator, or similar.
Experience with customs, export control, dangerous goods, and international transportation is beneficial, but motivation and willingness to learn are equally important.
